Background
The Tanzania Empowering Organization for Skills Development (TEOSD) is a non-profit organisation established in 2025 to address a persistent societal issue of self-awareness and purpose discovery. The organisation is dedicated to unlocking individuals’ potential through self-awareness, career guidance, and practical skills development. We believe that every person has unique talents and abilities that, when discovered and nurtured, can lead to meaningful employment, entrepreneurship, and personal fulfilment. Many educated individuals in our country who graduate from primary, secondary, college, and university still find themselves jobless and dependent on others.
Through careful observation, it became evident that a significant number of these individuals lack the potential and capabilities necessary for employment, as well as proper career guidance. They often do not have a clear understanding of their own skills, aspirations, or how to fully utilise their abilities. This results in a high number of unqualified candidates, elevated unemployment rates, and increased dependency.
To tackle this challenge, we thought that there is a pressing need to empower these individuals with the skills required to overcome employment obstacles and address personal issues affecting them and society at large. Our programs empower youth, graduates, and aspiring entrepreneurs to identify their strengths, build confidence, develop essential workplace and business skills, and become job-ready or create their own employment opportunities.
At TEOSD, we are committed to transforming potential into purpose and purpose into lasting impact by equipping those seeking employment with the necessary skills to become job-ready, while also providing training for aspiring entrepreneurs so they can successfully embark on self-employment ventures.

2014 - Launch Xelo 1.0
Xelo was established with a clear mission: to simplify complex financial strategies and empower businesses of all sizes with smarter financial solutions.
2018 - Awarded for Excellence
Xelo was recognized by a leading industry association for excellence in corporate financial strategy, validating our commitment to ethical guidance and measurable results.
2022 - Regional Office Opened
To better serve clients outside the founding city, Xelo opened its first regional office, extending its reach and strengthening client relationships across the region.
2026 - Celebrating 20 Years
Xelo’s 20th anniversary marked the launch of a bold new vision: empowering clients with financial strategies built for sustainability, resilience, and growth.
